The SHIP'S DAILY LOG FROM MAY 4, 1954 TO DECEMBER 2, 1954 is  presented courtesy of LTJG  Norman Minola (Ret) who wrote and recorded the daily log book.  Also courtesy of Bill Whitt author who included not only the Daily Log, but many short sailor stories in his book, "I Danced with the Lady."
